This collaboration aims to enhance the way quality control is conducted in the hygiene industry, marking a significant step forward for both companies.

The partnership involved the implementation of TiHive’s quality inspection solution (T-Monit) in the production line of Ficosota’s diaper brand, Pufies. TiHive’s technology monitors and visualizes the distribution of superabsorbent polymers (SAP) in each product’s core during production. The solution considers the needs of both product manufacturers and end-users, aiming to promote sustainable practices that enhance product quality and reduce costs.
“It’s very difficult to achieve 100% quality control for all products. There could be diapers under or over-dosed with SAP, requiring significant time to detect and analyze. Ensuring quality at every stage is crucial because a single defective product can affect the entire batch,” explained Veneta Grigorova, R&D manager at Ficosota”
This approach allows them to inspect 100% of products during production, allowing for:
